Early Years
Paul was born in Trenton, N.J., as the youngest of three siblings. His parents, Rose and Charlie, are of Italian descent and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Charlie was a laborer who installed floors and Rose worked for the Justice Courts as a clerk. Moving to Arizona in the late 70’s, Paul spent the latter part of his childhood in the West Valley, attending Cortez High School, Glendale Community College, then Northern Arizona University.
Family Man
Paul is married and has two sons with his wife Veronica. A highly successful small-business owner, Veronica supports organizations focused on child safety, women’s advocacy and a variety of local faith-based organizations.
Dedicated to Service
Paul has a combined 30 years of law enforcement and public safety experience. His resume includes a distinguished 21-year career with the Phoenix Police Department, with seven years dedicated to the department’s nationally-recognized Silent Witness program, which focuses on solving cold cases and apprehending dangerous fugitives.
Champion of Causes
After retiring from Phoenix PD, Paul spent time as Vice President with Childhelp, a nonprofit dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse. He also owned and operated a successful private security firm that focused on issues such as school and workplace safety, threat mitigation, internal investigations and comprehensive security.
